Can You Turn Extension Ladders Into Roof Ladders?

Q1) Can You Turn Extension Ladders Into Roof Ladders?

A1) Many people have been asking us about how to convert a normal extension ladder to a roof ladder. The easiest way is to just buy a set of roof ladders in the first place. But we also understand that money is tight for most of us. So we also sell The Roof Hook Kit Ladder Accessories that are made from strong 14-gauge aluminium and comes complete with large wheels and fittings. It simply Clamps to the top of the ladder and transforms your extension ladder into a roof ladder! Once you’ve moved the ladder into place, flip it over so that the hook catches hold over the ridge tiles. The ladder is now secured in place ready for you to climb along the roof.

Roof ladders: Roof Ladders are designed specifically to work on a sloping roof.  Roof ladders are slimmer and lighter than traditional extension ladders to make them mush easier to handle. They come with round serrated rungs that offer excellent grip no matter what angle the roof is. Roof ladders also come with bearer bars that help spread the weight of the ladder across a number of roof tiles and additional grip. This is really important when you’re high up on a ladder getting your roof ladders into position on the roof. Our range of Roof Ladders includes single and double sections, depending on the overall length you need to get to. You’ll also need to work out the maximum length you can put on top of your car or van.
