You know us by now, we love our ladders. All types really, just give us a game of snakes and ladders and we will play for hours! But this blog isn’t about our love of the humble ladder, it’s about bringing you something to talk about, read about and hopefully share about. Today’s blog is a house featuring more than just a few ladders. Hold onto the screen tightly because this is going to be a trip into the twilight zone…
Today we are going to Japan, which is quite often called the home of the strange. But is it the strange of the home?!?
Japanese designers designed this unusual house with minimalist style that have so many ladders connecting each rooms. It was called House T and designed by Japanese studio Hiroyuki Shinozaki Architects. In Japan, people usually live in a small house or small apartment, that’s why we can easily find so many Japanese designers create unique and minimalist house. In this house, the interior is very minimalist with white walls, interior furniture with natural materials with wooden color. We can also find a few plants and flowers that add more variation of color, not just the white and wooden color. A lot of ladders connecting rooms and with a built-in storage inside. Also check out the little ladder covered in flowers outside in the “patio” area. Check out the full house designs over at ” dezeen.com/2012/08/05/house-t-by-hiroyuki-shinozaki-architects “
Over the months we have posted a lot of weird stuff here on this blog. But despite our own love of ladders even we find this one a little…odd.
