Story behind it: Luana Rodrigues captured this amazing shot of a local couple that were trying to touch up the outside of their shop (that they still own today) with a lick of paint. But the boyfriend/husband (unknown) was concerned for his partner/wife (again unknown) because at the time she was in fact pregnant! But why didn’t he just get up it may you ask? It’s apparently because he suffers from extreme vertigo and would have probably passed out by going up even the smallest of step ladders! So what he did was to stand watch and hold the step ladder making sure that both the love of his life was safe and the unborn baby inside. And for us here at ladders-online it’s just about the perfect image and deserves its place right here on the iconic ladders hall of fame. The original image we are talking about can be seen below as can some others that caught our eye from the same photographer.
