Part 4 of the top 5 things to do with a ladder/loft ladders is of course getting into their lofts/attics. Getting a loft conversion done can get quite expensive but most people just do a touch of DIY and do it themselves. Which of course is good news for us because it’s nearly always us they buy their loft ladders attic ladders from. What we are going to look at today is the top 5 of the worlds best loft conversion. Some of these featured would cost a lot to do but they are in fact all do-able and they are all done within the confines of the loft space it’s self and ne external building at all.
Ladders & Loft Ladders ready? Then let’s go…
Number 5 –The drinks are quite literally on the house: First off we are going to Doncaster to visit the loft conversion if Brian Elese. He always wanted a pub/bar all of his very own but just couldn’t afford it. So what did he do? He got a loft conversion done and turned it into his very own bar! With couches stools and quite a few plants to add to the atmosphere it’s one of the best examples of “man Caves” we have ever seen. Now while he didn’t use a loft ladder (because both him and his friends would not have been able to go down it while a little….inebriated) he did use a set of Loft Stairs because while not as cheap as a loft ladder it is less steep. And that is a very important feature after a night out in Brian’s bar.
Number 4 – Watch the cue: This one is quite a common feature of lofts now-a-days. Get a loft conversion done and turn it into a games room! If you do have plans to do something like this one in north-west Manchester then we suggest getting it done by a professional company. While it may be a matter of getting the conversion done cheap yourself when it comes to floor strength and getting large things like this whole full size snooker table up into the attic/loft that is sadly most DIY people(We here at Ladders Online included) would not even try to do ourselves. So get it right first time and don’t regret it later. But if you have confidence in your own DIY/loft conversion abilities then crack on. Oh! And don’t forget your loft ladders. (shameless plug)
Number 3 – It looks like mine: For number 3 we went with one from a company called lofts2rooms.co.uk It’s amazingly stylish, elegantly simple and perfectly do-able. Grabbing a loft ladder or a set of loft stairs might be all that holds you back from this designer loft paradise. This made it to number 2 because with it may look all posh and designer it is in fact quite a simple build if you look at it properly. And we here at ladders Online would hazard a guess that quite a few loft conversion firms would be able to pull this out of the bag. (for the right price of course)
Number 2 – Drives us up the wall: now while you may well need quite a tall loft for this one it’s one of the best ideas we have seen. With no external building whatsoever this loft is just one big rock climbing cave! We have no idea what strength/supports/ weight limits you would need to impose in order for this loft conversion to become a reality, we just liked the idea. And for that very reason it goes straight into our number 2 spot. We have not named or posted a link to the firm that does this because it seems they closed down. We have no idea why or what reason but we won’t name them just incase it’s bad. Here is a very simple tip everyone should be following…Look up the name of your firm on Facebook, Twitter, Google plus & Google Main search. Has anyone said anything bad about them?!?
Number 1 – And talking of caves: So this is it. This is the Ultimate loft conversion. We have had designer ones, simple ones, climbing ones, and now this one is the epic one. What do you get if you tell a Batman fan that the loft coversion can be his own little man cave? You get what is just about the most mindblowing loft conversion you will ever see. This $30,000 job (not cheap we know) was all done by Chris Selby and a few friends. All home DIY and nothing really that special about it. But stick a few great ideas together and what you get is even better than the sum of their parts. Lets face it. The screen isn’t that big, the lighting (although very cool looking) is a ceap effect and the “cave” design it’s self is nothing more that paper mashe that you used to do as a child! But like we said at the start it’s not just a good and simple loft conversion, IT’S A EPIC WIN AS WELL! On a selling note if you can affor to do this why not splash out on one of our own Sandringham Electric Loft Ladders
Thank you for reading/viewing this blog and if you did like it then please tell us. And if you didn’t then tell us what you didn’t like about it because we can’t improve it without your help.
