When was the first ladder invented?

Q – When was the first ladder invented?

A – The first ladder known to exist was first used approximately more than 10,000 years ago.  Paintings showing the use of ladders were discovered in caves in Spain, suggesting that ladders were first invented sometime around 8,000 B.C. or earlier. The earliest known picture showing a ladder is found in a Mesolithic rock painting that is at least 10,000 years old. There appears to be references in the rock painting which shows two naked humans carrying baskets or bags that are employing a long wobbly ladder, which appears to be made out of some kind of grass, to reach a wild honeybee nest to harvest honey!
