We here at ladders-online have zero talent for art. Give us a step ladder and we will just look at it with the happy step ladders for sale eyes. Never once stopping and thinking “what amazing design or art could I do with that?!?” Nope! Never ever have, or are we ever likely to think anything like that. But some people look at step ladders, see what size it is and then think to themselves, “I could make this!” Or maybe “I could make that!” And this blog is all about Mac Faulkner who saw a whole box of un-used, multi coloured post it notes in the stationary cupboard and then the step ladder that was in the same place and thought to himself, “I think today I will make people smile and relive their youth!”
Today we are just jumping on the bus to visit the Birmingham city centre.
The strange thing about these “designs” is that anyone could have done them. Even us here at the ladders-online head office could have done them. But no-one ever has. It takes someone to show people the way. And just the other week now, Mac Faulkner decided to make a load of 8-BIT characters and post them all over the office where he worked and in the windows. Little did he know that people would go nuts for it and there are now literally 1’000s of images of his office block with his designs in the windows.
Whatever the reason for him doing this it does serve one main purpose, it makes people smile. All those happy memories sat down playing on the NES. Ahh, the happier times in life when all you had to do is play video games and eat food. And all those memories that now flood through our heads all started because someone saw a box of sticky notes and a 5 tread summit professional stepladder.
